I had been wanting to write a proper closing post to my year 2012 but yet I had been procrastinating and not do it. So here I am, finally doing a proper procedure to finally bid my year 2012 farewell.
2012, it had been an amazing year. I can't say it's the best because there are still years down the road which I had not yet live till, but I could say, it's a little better than the years that had passed by. 2012, a year where I grew up, somehow. I learnt to love, to desire, to hunger, to want to be a better person. Because of the breakthrough given to me by Christ, my Lord and my Saviour.
28th January 2012, I first stepped into Heart of God Church, I revisited my blog post on my first encounter to this amazing place. It goes like this;
Attended a church service at Heart of God Church (HOGC) with PrisPris yesterday. It's been long since I last step foot in a church and attended a service. I felt the distinct difference between people of God and people of the world as I sat through the sermon. The atmosphere and the energy brought forth by the enthusiasm for God is overwhelming. I'm touched and am thankful that God saw me and saved me.My life changed 180 degree ever since I enter into HOGC. The only thing which I am regretful in my life now would be, not being able to enter HOGC earlier. If I had enter HOGC earlier, things might be different. I will work harder in FDM Club last time, and not cause the club to be in shambles then and the choices that I chose to make, it would be different. But I believe God brought me into HOGC at such a timing, He has His purpose. I can't deny that initially it was hard, I could not blend in to the group, I'm shy, I'm abashed, I'm ill-disciplined. But I'm thankful for leaders like JieHui dajie who sowed so much into my life, being patient with me and really makes me understand the true meaning of forsaking self for Christ. I'm happy that I am giving things up for Christ. Not for worldly pleasure but I seek to please God. There are still many things I have to give up to Christ and I know that as I grow each day and I live by each moment, every moment will turn into an experience. :)
I'm learning to cherish the amazing people God had placed in my life. I'm learning to always put God first in my life. I'm learning to lean not on my own understanding but trust in His timing always. I'm learning to be more mature, have more wisdom and be more tactful when I'm with different people. I'm learning to love others more. I'm learning to grow more. I'm constantly learning and I want to grow into the person that God wants me to be. My purpose in this life, my dreams, my abilities. There are just so many things in my life that I have to learn but I will not rush for everything in life, there's a season to it and I believe as of now, it's the season for Servanthood. I need to be more Servant-hearted. As I enter into Interpretation ministry, I need to work harder towards my dream. As I decided to learn guitar, I need to work harder. In all that I do, I want to give Him the highest glory!
Also in this year, I entered 2 schools. This transition phase, is tough. From Poly to University. In the beginning, I felt lonely but I will always be reminded how God had always been assuring me that He is faithful. And indeed He is faithful, whenever I'm alone, I never feel lonely because I know that He is with me. I'm in such a reflection mood now, so many things I wanna pray about!! haha
3.5 more years to go! I need to work and study harder! :)
Work, I started my longest work ever. Entering into a totally brand new line, Etude House, I learnt and met many people. People I love and unfamiliar cosmetics and skin care products that I got to learn. But still, I will work hard to do my best in every aspect of my life. :)
I'm thankful for the people who enter into my life this year, DV 6 CEG, HOGC Pastors, Leaders and everyone! Thank you for being part of my growing up life and I'm thankful for the many people who had entered into my life and never leave me. God, daddy, mommy, gorgor, benben, Sharon, Evon, Pris, Shermeen, Pong mama, Weiling, ShiQi, Sijin, Enni, ChingYan and many more! Sorry that I did not mention your name if you're reading this! Sorry!
As I turn 21 this year, I know I need to be more mature and grow up! Let go and Let God! :)

Another important milestone to note down in the year 2012, my Graduation! Ended my 3 years in TP with a Diploma in Integrated Facility Design and Management with Merit and with a final GPA of 3.57; Date Captured: May 2012

Right after my finals, the last day, the day which I had been waiting for, I flew to Mel's house, literally. Exam free! Celebrated Dajie's birthday and we had fun together, but not forgetting the Baking Session with Leo and awesome Tiramisu and also, the uneventful teevee which spoilt but was fixed after that.
